The St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund recently made generous donations to the St. Lawrence Health Foundation.

The Center for Cancer Care at Canton-Potsdam Hospital received $10,000 to support its Transportation Program and patient services. Gouverneur Hospital received $10,000 to assist up to 40 high risk patients to be genetically screened for prevalent genes that are related to cancer.

Since December of 1999, the Edward I. Moses Walk/Run has provided over $220,000 in support to the St. Lawrence Health Foundation. This strong partnership advances the Foundation’s shared mission to prevent, treat, and ultimately eradicate cancer from our communities.

The St. Lawrence Health Foundation exists to raise funds for the sole benefit of the patients served by St. Lawrence Health. Donations may be made online at https://www.stlawrencehealthsystem.org/about/give
