We have exciting news! The Potsdam and Ogdensburg communities are joining the fight and will be host sites as well as Canton for the 46th annual E.I. Moses Walk/Run for Life. The 46th annual event will be held in Canton at St. Lawrence University, in Potsdam at the Potsdam Elk’s Club on Elm Street, and in Ogdensburg at Ogdensburg Free Academy on State Street. We can’t wait to see you on Sunday, April 28th at one of these locations! Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Walk/Run begins at 10:00 a.m.

Money for Good Causes!

The 2023 Walk raised more $60,000 that was donated to local causes.

Similar to previous years, you may fundraise using our online platform, GiveLively. Those who feel comfortable asking for donations face-to-face may do so using the enclosed registration form, or you can use a combination of online and in-person fundraising!

Many of the programs we provide grants to will be on hand to educate participants on the work they are able to do as a result of the funds provided by the St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund.

T-Shirts and Prizes

Participants who raise $35 or more will receive an event t-shirt. To be guaranteed a t-shirt on April 28th, please visit our website and place your order no later than April 1, or contact Kathy Flannagan at (315) 854-0655 or Dick Christy at (315) 869-8962. Be sure to give us the location where you will be walking so we can have your t-shirt there for you. For those ordering t-shirts on the day of the event, provide a working email and/or phone number and let us know the location of the Kinney store you want to have your shirt delivered to.

This year, we will once again be featuring raffle baskets with products from local businesses! Tickets will be available for purchase during registration. If you are a business owner who would like to donate an item to help maximize the money raised during the event, please contact Barb Spadacinni at (315) 323-3814 or Michelle Kerr at (315) 778-4920.

Thank You!

We wish to express our deepest gratitude for your efforts to raise important funds for local cancer programs. The work goes on and our community needs us now more than ever before. Your efforts and the support of those who donate to our cause provided more than $60,000 in 2023 for cancer screenings, education, transportation to treatment, and many other programs that contribute greatly to the local fight against cancer.
