St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund aids local hospital

POTSDAM — The St. Lawrence County Cancer Fund, a volunteer organization dedicated to fighting cancer within the county, recently made a donation to the St. Lawrence Health System’s Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation.

The funds will assist with the transportation of patients to and from treatments at the Center for Cancer Care in Potsdam, financial counseling program support for patients and families, and for provisions such as wigs, head scarves, and patient-specific needs.
